Happy new year everyone! After a hiatus, I’m back with another guided journaling prompt. To me, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day are the perfect time to do some writing and reflection. It’s dark and cold, the holiday chaos is over, and a new year feels like a fresh chance to reevaluate what’s going on in my life.
If you feel the same way, here’s a writing prompt and 10-minute guided journaling exercise you might use to get started. Today, we’ll reflect back on 2024. (I’ll be back tomorrow with a new prompt for looking ahead to 2025.)
I’ll give you brief instructions and a writing prompt, and let you know when ten minutes are up. Your job is to write continuously for ten minutes. So grab your pen and notebook, get comfortable, and let’s write together!
Today’s prompt: Reflect back on the highs and lows of 2024.
Welcome to those who have recently subscribed! If you haven’t already, I hope you’ll go back to my old posts, and try out my 30 Day Journaling Challenge. If you have a goal of doing more writing/journaling in the new year, I hope it will help you get started. Start here, with this 5 minute welcome episode, to learn about what to expect.
Happy New Year!
