In today's culture of hustle and grind, slowing down can sometimes feel like an impossibility. Even if we CAN slow down, we might avoid it because it can feel uncomfortable to sit with ourselves quietly.
But slowing down is necessary if we want to tune into ourselves and step out of the chronic stress of constant busy-ness. For today's prompt, let's write about slowing down.
🖊️📖 You can use writing as a way to practice slowing down - which might be especially helpful if this is a foreign concept for you! Before you respond to the prompt, just sit quietly for a few minutes. When you write, write slowly. Notice what shows up for you, and write about that.
