Writing Prompt: If you only had 6 months
It's all too easy to get swept away by our daily tasks and problems and forget that some day, our lives will end. The clock is ticking for us all! Remembering our own mortality is a way of getting in touch with what's most important to us. Doing so can give us a much-needed perspective shift.
Spend a moment considering the fact that some day you will die, and write about what comes up for you.
🖊📖 In the limited time you have left in your life, what is most important to you?
🖊📖 At the end of your life, what do you imagine you might you regret? Are there things you have not done that you will wish you had?
🖊📖 If you had limited time left, which people would you want to spend time with?
🖊📖 How would you like to be remembered after you’re gone? What does this tell you about your values?
🖊📖 What does this exercise tell you about your life now? What might you need to make more time for? What unimportant things would need to go, in order to have more time for the important stuff?
