Writing Prompt: How Do you Recharge?
Last week, I posted about how I’ve been feeling a little too stressed lately. This week, my kids are on spring break. I worked a few days this week, but was also able to take time up in the mountains to ski, soak in hot springs, read books, sleep, and relax with my family. We’ve been addicted to the TV show Only Murders in the Building, and have have spent hours on the couch together every night before bed, laughing and speculating about who the murderer might be. It’s been lovely!
This time up in the mountains has really helped me to recharge. I’m noticing that I’m sleeping better, and my overall stress level has dropped significantly. Although it can be hard to take breaks like this, it feels worth it.
Let’s reflect on some ways you like to recharge your own batteries!
